As of November 2015, they have a total of 3.5 million subscribers. == Background == Before Corridor Digital, became a content-creating YouTube channel, the company was originally a freelance VFX production house in 2010, founded by Sam Gorski and Niko Pueringer along with producer Jake Watson. Corridor Digital first uploaded one of their videos to YouTube in 2011. Along with their VFX filled videos, they also upload tutorials and "behind-the-scenes" videos to help viewers understand and learn the process in making some of their content. Sam, Niko, Jake, and close friend Brandon Laatsch are all natives of Stillwater, Minnesota. While during their collegiate years they went separate ways, the group reunited in Los Angeles in 2009 after Sam and Niko finished a low-budget monster movie called "Dark Island," shot in British Columbia.〔 Sam and Niko began shooting together in middle school around the year 2000, where they took it upon themselves to shoot a Star Wars fan film and never looked back. Jake joined the team in late 2010.〔
